June returns with familiar promises: brighter days, warmer nights, the emergence of summer and of course, the beginning of festival season.

One festival in particular has our hearts; Primavera Sound, one of the finest festivals in Europe and arguably, the world.

Thousands flock for their annual pilgrimage to the scenic Parc del Fòrum, an open-air space set by the sea, transformed into a temporary city of sound.

To no surprise, it sold out for the second year in a row. The line-up, as ever, is sprawling; spanning generations and genres, unfolding from day to dusk and back to dawn.

The beauty of a festival of such scale, is the serendipity of discovery; 

following the distant trickle of sound from one stage to another, stumbling into an artist you’ve never heard before, and leaving, wondering how you ever lived without them.

This mix gathers just a fraction of the artists on display this year, some you might know and some we hope you’ll grow to love. 

It’s near impossible to capture the full scope of Primavera Sound in just 2 hours, but perhaps that’s part of its magic.
