One year ago, Threads launched, a broadcast platform born out of a passion for amplifying and connecting creative communities and subcultures worldwide, combining musical fanaticism with a consciousness for addressing what’s going on in the world around us, both locally and globally.
It’s been a wild rollercoaster since! An incredibly special community has evolved, running two channels 24/7, building strong Threads communities in at least 25 countries worldwide, with well over 300 DJs, producers and hosts part of the station. We’ve hosted events and pop-ups in 22 different localities, across 10 countries and 3 continents, and have streamed well over 5000 hours of unique content thus far.
It’s time to celebrate and so it’s an absolute pleasure to have been invited by one of the finest techno parties around, Ben Sims’ ‘Machine’, to host a second room for this Friday’s rave at the club which has been our home for the last year, The Cause.
Look forward to a rave-inspired 7 hours, bringing together DJs from the station, some special guests, and two live performances spanning machines and saxophones!
